Tag Tuck | Saxophone
Tag Tuck is a freelance musician and Masters of Divinity student at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  He holds degrees in Saxophone Performance and Music Education from both Indiana University and the University of Nebraska where he has studied with Dr. Eugene Rousseau and Dr. Thomas Walsh.  Prior to moving to St. Louis, he spent eight years in the Air Force Band program including a three year tour in Germany performing on clarinet and saxophone in Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, Israel, and Turkey.  His work as the musical director and arranger for the trad jazz ensemble “Wings of Dixie” garnered him many accolades and the Air Force Achievement medal 1st Oak Leaf Cluster. An active and versatile musician, he has performed with Bob Mintzer, the Lincoln Symphony, Eddie Daniels, Denis DiBlasio, Richard Stoltzman, the O’Jays and many others.  He has maintained a studio for private instruction for twelve years, was adjunct professor of saxophone and clarinet at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska for two years, and music director at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, Virginia for five years along with his wife Gina, an accomplished pianist.  They now make their home in Des Peres enjoying music and their two children.
